Pre-requisite for creating WhatsApp account

There are a few things that you have to keep in mind before you start with creating WhatsApp account for Free. Make sure you fulfill these criteria:

  • Smartphone (or any other mobile device such as Tablet, iPad etc).
  • Internet – Phone data or Wi-Fi internet.
  • At least 50% battery.
  • Approx 70 MB of available space on your device.

Step 1:– The very first step is to visit WhatsApp official website.

Step 2: Download WhatsApp for Android, iOS, Windows or other platforms available at the official website.

Step 3: Install WhatsApp.

Step 4: Open WhatsApp and you will see below screen. Hit “Agree and Continue”

Step 5: In the next step (see image below), select your home country and enter the mobile number.

Make sure you enter the correct mobile number because you will be receiving a PIN on the same mobile number.

You may be charged for receiving this SMS depending on your mobile carrier and the country.

Step 7: You will receive 6 digit PIN code in a few seconds.

Step 8: Enter this 6 digit PIN code, the phone number will be verified.

Step 9: If you have ever used this phone number before and WhatsApp finds the backup, it will prompt to restore a backup.

Based on your choice if you want to restore or skip, chose any of these two options. If you chose to RESTORE, it may take some time for the process to complete. Allow it till for some time and you are done with creating WhatsApp account.
